The fifth edition of the Saudi Media Forum 2026 will begin on Monday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Held over three days, this year’s forum is themed “Media in a Shaping World” and will bring together more than 300 international experts and specialists. Participants will take part in over 150 dialogue sessions focusing on the rapidly evolving global media landscape and the challenges facing the industry.

The forum will showcase cutting-edge technological solutions for the production, broadcasting, and distribution sectors. Several agreements are also expected to be signed during the event to enhance Saudi media capabilities and strengthen local talent.

Saudi Minister of Information Salman Al-Dosari said the fifth edition holds special significance as it coincides with the completion of ten years of Saudi Vision 2030. He noted that over the past decade, Saudi media has emerged as a global influencer, driven by digital transformation and strategic investment in innovation.

A key objective of the forum is to address the growing role of artificial intelligence and how media organizations can adapt to emerging challenges. Discussions will focus on modern content creation, the use of AI-driven tools, and advanced technologies aligned with current and future industry demands.

One of the major highlights of the 2026 edition is the launch of the Boulevard 2030 area, held in conjunction with the Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX). The exhibition is expected to provide a forward-looking platform showcasing the next generation of media technologies and innovations.

The Saudi Media Forum has become a leading regional and international platform for dialogue on media transformation, reflecting the Kingdom’s broader ambitions to position itself at the forefront of the global media and communications sector.
