WASHINGTON, — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described his latest White House meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump as one of the strongest discussions the two leaders have ever held, emphasizing close coordination on Iran and Israel’s security.
Speaking before attending a memorial service for the late U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, Netanyahu said the meeting was marked by “full cooperation,” mutual support, and a shared understanding of key strategic objectives.
“It was a meeting with full cooperation, with mutual support, with understanding on the joint goal that Iran won’t have nuclear weapons, and also other goals,” Netanyahu said in a video statement.
The Israeli prime minister added that the discussions provided an opportunity to exchange views and coordinate on issues critical to Israel’s security and long-term future.
“It was one of the best conversations I’ve had with our friend, U.S. President Trump,” Netanyahu said.
