TASHKENT, Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan formally presented his credentials to Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, reaffirming Islamabad’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations in key areas including trade, investment, tourism and regional connectivity.
During the credential presentation ceremony, the ambassador Muhammad Mudassir Tipu conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to the Uzbek leadership.
The Pakistani envoy reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to reinforce and expand cooperation with Uzbekistan, emphasizing enhanced collaboration in economic partnerships, investment opportunities, tourism promotion and regional connectivity initiatives.
President Mirziyoyev appreciated Pakistan’s ongoing mediation efforts and acknowledged its constructive role in promoting regional peace, stability and dialogue.
Pakistan and Uzbekistan have continued to deepen diplomatic and economic engagement in recent years, with both countries seeking closer cooperation under regional connectivity initiatives and expanding trade and investment partnerships.
