RAWALPINDI, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its longstanding relationship with Kuwait, emphasizing that both countries share a common vision for regional peace, stability, and prosperity.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday, Field Marshal Asim Munir met Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi. The Kuwaiti delegation also included Kuwait’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nasser Abdulrahman J. Al-Mutairi.
During the meeting, the two sides held detailed discussions on matters of mutual interest, the regional security environment, and measures to further enhance bilateral cooperation.
The Kuwaiti foreign minister praised Pakistan’s steadfast support, its constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability, and the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the two countries.
Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to further strengthen strategic relations with Kuwait, stressing that both nations remain committed to working together for peace, security, and sustainable prosperity across the region.
