ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, with discussions focusing on the Makkah Defence Agreement and the regional security situation.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson, the two foreign ministers also exchanged views on developments in the region, including the situation in occupied East Jerusalem.
Makkah Defence Agreement Discussed
During the telephone call, Ishaq Dar and the Kuwaiti foreign minister discussed the recently signed Makkah Defence Agreement involving Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.
The agreement has emerged as an important development in regional defence cooperation and security coordination.
