NABLUS: Israeli settlers surrounded a Palestinian family home in the Nablus area of the occupied West Bank for more than three hours, according to Palestinian media reports.
The incident took place on Sunday evening, when settlers surrounded the home of Palestinian resident Mohammad Thabet Majed Hassoun.
According to the Palestinian Wafa news agency, the siege trapped nine members of the family inside the house.
Nine Palestinians Reportedly Detained
Arab media reports said Israeli forces later entered the area and detained all nine Palestinians who had remained inside the home.
The reports also said Israeli soldiers damaged household property before leaving the house.

The incident has added to growing concerns over settler attacks and restrictions against Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank.
Tensions Rise in Qusra
Meanwhile, three Palestinian families remain trapped inside their homes in the village of Qusra, south of Nablus.

The situation in Qusra has drawn international concern. Pope Leo has also called for an end to violence against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank.
