Pakistan Approves Induction of Nine Armed Forces Officers Into Civil Service

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has approved the induction of nine officers from Pakistan’s armed forces into the civil service.

According to official details issued by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), nine candidates from the Army, Air Force and Navy passed the psychological and viva voce examinations.

The successful officers have been inducted into the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) and Foreign Service of Pakistan (FSP) through the Competitive Examination 2025.

Five Officers Join Pakistan Administrative Service

The FPSC approved the induction of five officers into the Pakistan Administrative Service.

They include Captain Syed Shehryar Khan, Captain Usama Mujtaba, Captain Haider Ali and Flight Lieutenant Usama Ahmed.

Lieutenant Ayaz Hussain of the Pakistan Navy has also been inducted into the Pakistan Administrative Service.

Two Officers Join Police Service

Two Pakistan Army officers have been selected for the Police Service of Pakistan.

They are Captain Syed Atiq-ur-Rehman and Captain Syed Taimoor Ali.

Both officers successfully completed the required psychological and viva voce stages before receiving approval for induction.

Two Officers Join Foreign Service

The government has also approved the induction of two officers into the Foreign Service of Pakistan.

Captain Shiraz Ahmed of the Pakistan Army has been selected for the Foreign Service.

Flight Lieutenant Asifa Ali Masood of the Pakistan Air Force has also been inducted into the service.

Induction Approved Under CSS 2025

The FPSC said the nine officers qualified through the required selection process.

Their induction has been approved under the Competitive Examination 2025.

The move brings officers from all three branches of Pakistan’s armed forces into key civilian services, including administration, policing and diplomacy.
