RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its long-standing strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia.
He made the remarks during a meeting with Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley at General Headquarters (GHQ).
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement about the meeting on Friday.
Asim Munir Highlights Strong Bilateral Ties
During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest.
Field Marshal Asim Munir highlighted the deep brotherly ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have maintained close relations for decades.
Both countries also cooperate in several areas, including security, trade, investment and agriculture.
