Islamabad: Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan has assumed responsibility as spokesperson for Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In a statement, Khan expressed gratitude to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch for their trust and confidence.
He said he looks forward to performing his new responsibility with dedication and professionalism.
Appreciation for His Predecessor
Khan also thanked his predecessor, Tahir Andrabi, for his contribution and distinguished service.
He wished Andrabi success in his future responsibilities.
The appointment places Khan at the forefront of Pakistan’s official communication on foreign policy and international affairs.
As Foreign Ministry spokesperson, he will be responsible for communicating Pakistan’s official position on diplomatic developments, foreign policy matters and international issues.
