TEHRAN, — Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters has warned the United States and its regional allies against any new attack on Iran.
The joint military command said Iran would respond with sustained and painful attacks if the US takes military action. It also warned that American bases and interests across the region could become targets.
The command also warned countries that support US military operations. It said those countries could face Iranian military action if they assist an attack on Iran.
Iran Warns of Wider Regional Targets
The Iranian command said it would show no restraint in targeting US bases and interests in the region.
The warning comes amid growing tensions between Tehran and Washington. Iran has also warned that any future response could extend beyond US military bases.
Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei separately said Iran had revised its military plans after earlier rounds of fighting. He said Tehran would target US bases and Washington’s regional interests with greater intensity if Iran came under attack.
Rezaei also said Iranian military assessments point to a high possibility of another US attack. He said Tehran remains prepared for that possibility.
Iran Links Warning to US Military Plans
The Khatam al-Anbiya command claimed that the United States had discussed another military operation against Iran during a joint meeting in a European country.
The Iranian military command did not provide independent evidence for that claim in the statement.
Iran has also accused Israel of helping create the conditions for the conflict. These claims reflect Tehran’s position and have not been independently established.
Tehran Also Keeps Diplomatic Channel Open
Despite the military warnings, Iran says it still wants to pursue diplomacy.
Rezaei recently said Qatar had passed Iran’s conditions for renewed talks to Washington. He said Tehran wants an end to the war on all fronts, the release of frozen Iranian assets and an end to the US naval blockade.
Qatar and Pakistan have continued contacts aimed at reviving negotiations between Iran and the United States. Meanwhile, Tehran says it is waiting for US President Donald Trump’s response.
