TEHRAN: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that coordination and consultation with the country’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei have become stronger, emphasizing that key government decisions are being implemented in line with the Supreme Leader’s guidance.
Speaking at a ceremony marking Iran’s National Industry and Mining Day, President Pezeshkian said access to and communication with the Supreme Leader have continued to improve with each passing day, according to Iran’s state media.
He stated that all major government initiatives undertaken so far have been organized in accordance with the Supreme Leader’s directives, adding that the administration values his support and remains committed to moving forward under his guidance.
Highlighting the importance of national unity, the Iranian president described solidarity as the country’s greatest need under current circumstances. He praised Iran’s industrialists and manufacturing sector for maintaining production despite international sanctions and external pressure.
Pezeshkian said the resilience of Iranian businesses had helped prevent foreign pressure from achieving its intended objectives, while reaffirming the government’s commitment to resolving challenges faced by investors and manufacturers and strengthening domestic production.

Addressing the country’s political circles, the president urged restraint in criticizing diplomatic efforts and negotiations, warning that irresponsible criticism could undermine Iran’s national interests.
He stressed that Iran’s foreign policy and negotiating strategy are formulated under the guidance of the national leadership and called on all state institutions to remain united in supporting those policies.
Under Iran’s constitutional framework, the Supreme Leader holds ultimate authority over the armed forces, national security, and key foreign policy decisions, while the president is responsible for overseeing the country’s executive affairs.
