ISLAMABAD: Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin, paid a farewell visit to the Chairman of Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission (HEC) upon the completion of his diplomatic assignment, reaffirming the two countries’ commitment to strengthening academic collaboration.
During the meeting, the HEC Chairman commended Ambassador Kistafin for his significant contribution to promoting bilateral cooperation in higher education. He praised the ambassador’s efforts in fostering stronger institutional ties between universities in Pakistan and Kazakhstan and expanding opportunities for academic collaboration.
The HEC Chairman highlighted the longstanding and friendly relations between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, expressing confidence that cooperation in education would continue to deepen in the years ahead. He emphasized the importance of enhancing partnerships in higher education through joint research initiatives, faculty and student exchange programs, and broader academic engagement.
Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to expanding existing educational cooperation, strengthening institutional partnerships, and exploring new opportunities for mutually beneficial collaboration in the higher education sector.
