WASHINGTON, — U.S. President Donald Trump sharply criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of trying to keep the United States involved in military conflict as the two leaders prepare for a high-stakes meeting at the White House.
Speaking to U.S. media ahead of the meeting, Trump said Netanyahu’s planned briefing on Iran’s nuclear activities was unnecessary, insisting that Washington already has its own intelligence on Tehran’s nuclear program.
“I don’t need Netanyahu to tell me about Iran’s nuclear activities. Let him tell the world,” Trump said, adding that the Israeli prime minister “wants me to stay involved in the war,” which is why he is emphasizing intelligence on Iran.
Trump maintained that the United States is closely monitoring Iran’s nuclear activities and claimed Washington has full visibility into developments at the Kuh Kolang site.
“That is not a major issue,” Trump said. “We have already destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities.”

The U.S. president further warned that if diplomatic efforts with Tehran fail, the United States could also target the Kuh Kolang site.
“If there is no agreement with Iran, we can destroy Kuh Kolang very easily,” he said.
Trump’s remarks come just hours before his scheduled meeting with Netanyahu at the White House, where Iran’s nuclear program and broader Middle East security are expected to dominate discussions.
