JERUSALEM, – Israel’s Defense Ministry announced the successful completion of a new test of the country’s long-range Arrow missile defense system, describing the exercise as another major milestone in strengthening Israel’s national defense capabilities.
According to the ministry, the trial formed part of a long-term modernization program aimed at enhancing the Arrow system’s performance against evolving regional and strategic threats.
Officials said the successful test demonstrated continued progress in improving Israel’s layered air defense network, which is designed to intercept long-range ballistic missiles before they reach Israeli territory.
“The successful test represents another significant milestone in Israel’s operational ability to defend itself from current and future threats,” the Defense Ministry said in an official statement.
The ministry added that the exercise is part of a multi-year development and upgrade initiative intended to ensure the Arrow system remains capable of addressing emerging missile challenges.
