PARIS, — Pakistan and France have reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral economic ties after Pakistan’s Ambassador to France, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, met a delegation from the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) in Paris.
The delegation was led by LCCI President Faheem-ur-Rehman Sehgal. The meeting focused on enhancing commercial relations between the two countries and encouraging stronger cooperation between their business communities.
According to a statement shared by the Embassy of Pakistan in Paris on X, both sides reviewed opportunities to strengthen business-to-business (B2B) engagement and discussed practical ways to increase bilateral trade and investment.
Focus on Trade and Investment
The participants explored new avenues for economic cooperation. They emphasized the importance of closer collaboration between Pakistani and French companies in key commercial sectors.
Both sides agreed that stronger institutional links between business organizations can create new opportunities for exporters, investors, and entrepreneurs from both countries.
The discussions also highlighted the need to facilitate regular interaction between the private sectors of Pakistan and France to promote sustainable economic growth.
