Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Tehran has not decided to resume negotiations with the United States.
According to the Iranian Student News Agency, Araghchi said there are currently no talks between Iran and the US.
However, he said Pakistan and Qatar remain in contact with Iran. The two countries are exchanging messages with Tehran as part of their diplomatic efforts.

Araghchi said contact between Iran, Pakistan and Qatar does not amount to negotiations with the United States.
The Iranian foreign minister did not announce any decision to restart direct talks with Washington.

Iran Rejects US Threats
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi also responded to recent remarks by US President Donald Trump.
Trump had said he would declare the Strait of Hormuz a US territory.

Gharibabadi said Iran would not be intimidated by threats or a show of force from Washington.
In a post on X, he said the strategic waterway would only be opened or closed under Iran’s authority.
Strait of Hormuz Remains a Key Issue
The comments come amid tensions between Iran and the United States over the strategic waterway.
Iran has made clear that it rejects any suggestion that Washington could determine the status of the Strait of Hormuz.
At the same time, Tehran has not announced the resumption of negotiations with the United States.
For now, Pakistan and Qatar remain in contact with Iran and continue exchanging messages, while direct US-Iran talks remain absent.
