SANTO DOMINGO: Pakistan’s Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh presented his credentials to Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader during a ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Santo Domingo.
The presentation formally accredited Rizwan Saeed Sheikh as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to the Dominican Republic.
Pakistan, Dominican Republic Discuss Bilateral Cooperation
During the ceremony, Pakistan and the Dominican Republic reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new areas of cooperation.
Both sides discussed opportunities to expand collaboration in trade, investment, information technology, tourism and people-to-people exchanges.
The two countries expressed hope that closer engagement in these areas would help build stronger and more enduring ties between Pakistan and the Dominican Republic.
