The President’s Secretariat has said that President Asif Ali Zardari’s foreign trip was entirely private.
A spokesperson for the President’s Secretariat said Zardari personally paid all expenses linked to the visit.
The spokesperson added that the president personally hired the aircraft for the trip.
Zardari Paid Aircraft and Travel Costs
According to the spokesperson, Zardari covered all costs related to the aircraft and its crew.
He also paid the aircraft parking charges and accommodation costs during the visit.
The spokesperson stressed that the president personally covered all expenses linked to the private trip.
The statement clarified that the government did not bear the reported costs of the visit.
