Member of the Balochistan Assembly Farah Azeem Shah has said that the lasting solution to Balochistan’s challenges lies not in force, hatred or creating divisions, but in promoting justice, restoring public trust and ensuring meaningful inclusion of citizens in the development process.

In a statement, she emphasized that individuals who are not involved in terrorism but are becoming vulnerable to negative influences due to deprivation and frustration should be provided with dignity, rights and hope.

Farah Azeem Shah noted that feelings of marginalization emerge when elected representatives progress while ordinary citizens continue to lack access to basic facilities and opportunities.

She said that many communities still face challenges related to quality education, clean drinking water, healthcare services and employment opportunities.

“When children are deprived of quality education, clean water and a better future, feelings of deprivation naturally grow,” she said.

The lawmaker stressed that these concerns should not be ignored and instead require effective and long-term policy solutions.

The provincial legislator urged policymakers and stakeholders to reassess existing shortcomings and work toward rebuilding public confidence.

According to Farah Azeem Shah, Balochistan’s youth must be integrated into the national mainstream and provided with equal opportunities for progress and development.

She argued that empowering young people through education, employment and social inclusion is essential for ensuring long-term stability in the province.

While emphasizing that there can be no compromise on national defense and security, Farah Azeem Shah also highlighted the importance of preventing unnecessary sacrifices by security personnel.

She said that addressing the root causes of discontent through development and public engagement could help reduce tensions and strengthen social cohesion.

Analysts have increasingly pointed to the need for balancing security measures with economic development and political participation in addressing challenges in Balochistan.

Farah Azeem Shah concluded by saying that the path toward a peaceful and prosperous Balochistan can only be paved through justice, development, public participation and genuine care for the people.

She called on all relevant stakeholders to work collectively to resolve public issues and accelerate the province’s socio-economic development.

According to the lawmaker, cooperation between government institutions, local communities and civil society will be critical in building a brighter future for Balochistan and its people.
