ISLAMABAD, Outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin, paid a farewell call on Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at Parliament House in Islamabad, where both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Pakistan-Kazakhstan relations across political, parliamentary and economic sectors.
During the meeting, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq highlighted the long-standing friendship between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, describing bilateral ties as cordial and steadily expanding. He noted that the visit of Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Pakistan earlier this year had provided fresh momentum to cooperation between the two countries.
The Speaker emphasized the need to deepen economic and trade collaboration while expanding parliamentary engagement, saying stronger legislative exchanges would promote mutual understanding, closer people-to-people contacts and broader bilateral cooperation.
Ayaz Sadiq also commended Ambassador Kistafin for his diplomatic contributions during his tenure in Islamabad, praising his role in bringing the two countries closer and strengthening bilateral relations. He extended his best wishes to the ambassador for his future assignments.
Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin thanked the Speaker for his support and appreciated Pakistan’s efforts toward the peaceful resolution of international disputes. He also expressed gratitude for the respect, hospitality and cooperation he received during his diplomatic mission in Pakistan.
