ISLAMABAD: Three Pakistani companies have been recognized by Forbes among the leading small and mid-sized companies in the Asia-Pacific region.
The companies are Murree Brewery, Sazgar Engineering Works and Systems Limited.
Forbes included them in its latest list of 200 companies from the Asia-Pacific region that have continued to grow despite challenging economic conditions.

Murree Brewery is the oldest of the three Pakistani companies on the list.

Forbes lists Murree Brewery with annual revenue of around $102 million.
The company has continued operating for more than 160 years and remains one of Pakistan’s longest-established businesses.
Sazgar Engineering Reports $389 Million Turnover
The second Pakistani company on the Forbes list is Sazgar Engineering Works.
The automotive manufacturing company was established in 1991.
According to Forbes, the company has a turnover of approximately $389 million.
Sazgar has expanded its presence in Pakistan’s automotive and engineering sector while continuing to grow its business operations.
Systems Limited Expands Global Operations
The third Pakistani company is Systems Limited, a technology and software services company.
The company provides services in Pakistan as well as markets across North America, the Middle East and Europe.
Forbes puts its annual revenue at around $286 million.
The company has built an international presence by providing technology and digital services to clients in multiple markets.
Forbes Uses Multiple Performance Measures
Forbes assessed the companies using several financial indicators.
The evaluation included losses, sales revenue and business performance over one-year and three-year periods.
Forbes also examined companies’ equity performance over a five-year period.
