The Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) sealed 1,415 illegal medical centres across Punjab in August.
The commission released the figures as part of its ongoing action against quackery in the province.
A PHC spokesperson said teams continued inspections and enforcement operations across Punjab during the month.
Lahore Records the Highest Number of Seals
Lahore recorded the highest number of sealed centres during August.
PHC teams sealed 293 illegal medical centres in the city.
The teams also took action in several other districts.
In Kasur, authorities sealed 104 illegal medical centres.
Dera Ghazi Khan recorded 94 sealed centres during the month.
Action Continues Across Punjab
The campaign also covered Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib and Faisalabad.
PHC teams sealed 80 illegal medical centres in Sheikhupura.
They sealed another 64 centres in Nankana Sahib.
In Faisalabad, teams sealed 63 centres during raids against quackery.
The commission said its teams will continue action against illegal medical practices across Punjab.
