TEHRAN, Sept. 3: Iran’s Health Ministry spokesman Hossein Kermanpour says recent US strikes on Iran killed 18 people and injured 142.
Kermanpour said the reported deaths included two women and one child.
He also said 61 women and 44 people under the age of 18 were among those injured.
The figures were released as Iranian authorities reported US airstrikes and missile attacks on several parts of the country.
Kermanshah and Other Areas Hit
Iranian media reported that 12 civilians and seven military personnel were killed in attacks across Iran overnight.

According to an Iranian news agency, four members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force died in a US strike in Kermanshah province.
Three members of the Basij paramilitary force were also reported killed in an attack on Lavan Island.
The reported casualties could not be independently verified.
Casualties Reported in Khuzestan
Iranian authorities also reported casualties in Khuzestan province.
US missile strikes reportedly killed seven people and injured eight others in the province.
In Hormozgan province, an attack in Sirik reportedly struck a wedding gathering.
Iranian media said five people, including a child, were killed in the incident. Another 68 people were reportedly injured.
Explosions Reported Across Iran
Iranian media reported explosions in several other locations.
These included Ahvaz, Chabahar, Qeshm and Bandar Abbas.

Jiroft Airport was also reportedly targeted.
Explosions were additionally reported in Asaluyeh, a major gas hub on Iran’s Persian Gulf coast.
The reports came amid a sharp escalation in military tensions between Iran and the United States.

Iranian officials say women and children account for a significant share of the reported casualties.
