NEW YORK: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly session.
The meeting focused on Pakistan’s ongoing economic reforms and their impact on the country’s economic stability.
Georgieva said she had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during the UN General Assembly meetings.
In a statement shared on social media, the IMF chief said the two sides discussed Pakistan’s reform process.
