GAZA CITY: Israeli military operations continued across the Gaza Strip on Saturday, with Palestinian officials reporting that at least 10 more Palestinians, including three children, were killed in fresh airstrikes and ground attacks as fighting persisted despite a previously announced ceasefire.
According to Arab media reports, an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential building in the Al-Nasr area of Gaza City, killing five members of the same family. Local reports said the victims included a mother, father, and their three children. One child reportedly survived because they were outside the building when the strike occurred.
In a separate incident, one Palestinian was reportedly killed by Israeli gunfire in the Furosiya area. Meanwhile, residents and local sources said Israeli forces continued demolition operations in several neighborhoods of Khan Younis, where additional residential buildings were destroyed.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that 19 bodies had been brought to hospitals across Gaza during the past 48 hours, including victims recovered from previous attacks.
According to the ministry, 1,144 Palestinians have been killed and more than 3,703 injured since the ceasefire reached in October 2025, which Palestinian authorities say has been repeatedly violated during ongoing Israeli military operations.

The ministry further reported that the overall death toll in Gaza has now exceeded 73,269, while the number of wounded has risen to more than 173,811 since the conflict began.
Israel has maintained that its military operations target militant infrastructure and armed groups operating in Gaza. Casualty figures released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health have not been independently verified, and the humanitarian situation remains the subject of international concern.
The continued violence has prompted renewed calls from the international community for an immediate cessation of hostilities, greater protection for civilians, and unrestricted humanitarian access to the Gaza Strip.
