ISLAMABAD, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam has reaffirmed the strength of Pakistan-Iran relations, saying the friendship between the two neighboring countries is as towering as Iran’s Mount Damavand and Pakistan’s K2, the highest peak in the country.
In a statement shared on social media, the ambassador said the historic relationship between Pakistan and Iran has remained resilient despite various regional and international challenges.
He noted that the two countries are connected through centuries of shared history, civilization, religious beliefs, and cultural heritage, which continue to serve as the foundation of their bilateral partnership.
Reza Amiri Moghadam said Pakistan-Iran relations have entered a new era of strength and stability over the past two years, adding that the ties have become more resilient than ever before.
He emphasized that no challenge, incident, or external actor would be able to weaken the brotherly relationship and longstanding friendship between the two countries.

The Iranian envoy expressed confidence that the growing partnership between Pakistan and Iran could serve as an example of good neighborly relations for the wider region.
