RIYADH, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump, during which he expressed concern over reports of potential large-scale US military strikes against Iran and urged Washington to pursue de-escalation.
According to international media reports, the Saudi Crown Prince called on President Trump to avoid military action and instead work toward reducing regional tensions through diplomatic means.
During the conversation, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman emphasized the importance of maintaining stability in the Middle East and urged restraint amid the escalating crisis involving Iran.
The telephone call comes as diplomatic efforts continue to prevent further escalation in the region.
Media reports indicate that Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, and Pakistan are also encouraging the United States to avoid military confrontation and support efforts aimed at reducing tensions.
