Pakistan’s Ishaq Dar Arrives in London for Five-Day UK Visit

LONDON: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has arrived in London for a five-day official visit to the United Kingdom.

Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, Dr. Usman Tipe, received Ishaq Dar upon his arrival.

Ishaq Dar will begin his official engagements on August 24. He will meet senior British officials during his visit.

Ishaq Dar to Meet UK Foreign Secretary

During his UK visit, Ishaq Dar will meet British Foreign Secretary David Lammy.

He will also hold talks with other senior British government officials.

The meetings will cover Pakistan-UK relations and areas of mutual interest.

Ishaq Dar to Discuss Maritime Security

Ishaq Dar will also meet the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

The talks will focus on regional maritime security.

The meeting will also cover maritime cooperation and related regional issues.

Commonwealth Secretary-General Meeting

Ishaq Dar will meet Commonwealth Secretary-General Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey.

He will also meet UK Minister of State for Pakistan Stephen Doughty.

The meetings will focus on stronger cooperation between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.

The Ishaq Dar UK visit reflects Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen high-level engagement with Britain.
