JEDDAH: Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed received Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the OIC, Ambassador Muhammad Fawad Sher, on September 1, 2026.
The meeting took place at the OIC General Secretariat headquarters in Jeddah.
During the meeting, Ambassador Muhammad Fawad Sher presented a written message from Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar to the OIC secretary-general.
Pakistan and OIC Discuss Cooperation
The two sides discussed ways to strengthen and expand cooperation between Pakistan and the OIC General Secretariat.
Their talks covered cooperation across various fields.
Both sides also expressed a shared interest in strengthening their common visions and aspirations.
The meeting highlighted Pakistan’s continued engagement with the OIC and its General Secretariat.
