Appointment Approved by Federal Cabinet

The government has made the appointment on a deputation basis, according to the official notification.
Faisal Naseer will now lead NACTA at a time when Pakistan continues to focus on counterterrorism and efforts to prevent extremism.
Three-Year Term
The notification states that Faisal Naseer’s appointment will remain effective for three years.
His new role will involve overseeing NACTA’s coordination functions and supporting cooperation among relevant institutions involved in counterterrorism efforts.

Focus on Counterterrorism Coordination
NACTA serves as a national platform for coordinating Pakistan’s counterterrorism efforts.
