Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has set a 365-day waiting period before visitors can obtain a new permit to enter the Rawdah at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
According to Al Arabiya Urdu, visitors must wait 365 days from the date of their previous permit before applying for another one. After that period, they may obtain a new permit depending on their eligibility and the available time slots on the Nusuk app.
Nusuk App Provides Booking Options
The ministry said visitors near the Prophet’s Mosque can use the “instant booking” feature on the Nusuk app to seek a Rawdah visit permit. However, access depends on available time slots and the visitor’s eligibility.
These digital services help authorities organise entry to the Rawdah and manage visitor appointments. They also allow eligible worshippers to plan their visits through the official booking system.
What Is the Rawdah?
The Rawdah is located inside the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, between the Prophet’s Chamber and the Prophet’s Pulpit. Muslims regard the area as a particularly blessed place for prayer.
The Rawdah covers approximately 330 square metres. It measures about 22 metres long and 15 metres wide.
The permit system helps manage access to this limited space while giving eligible visitors a way to arrange their visits in advance.
