Tokyo: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan Abdul Hameed held a meeting with Pakistan Japan Business Council President Rana Abid Hussain at the Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral trade, investment, and cooperation while addressing issues concerning the Pakistani community in Japan.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on expanding economic collaboration, enhancing trade and investment opportunities, and promoting stronger institutional cooperation between Pakistan and Japan. They also discussed matters affecting the Pakistani diaspora and reaffirmed their commitment to working together in the national interest.
The participants emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts to improve Pakistan’s image abroad, facilitate business partnerships, and support the welfare of overseas Pakistanis.
On the occasion, the contributions of Pakistan Muslim League-N Japan President Malik Noor Awan toward serving the Pakistani community and promoting positive engagement were also acknowledged.
Ambassador Abdul Hameed stated that the Embassy of Pakistan in Japan serves all members of the Pakistani community and remains committed to providing quality consular services, promoting Pakistan’s positive image, and strengthening bilateral relations with Japan.
Rana Abid Hussain reaffirmed that the Pakistan Japan Business Council would continue to work closely with the embassy to enhance trade, attract investment, create new business opportunities, and further strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries. Counsellor Hasnain Haider of the Embassy of Pakistan also attended the meeting.
