NEW DELHI: The youth-led Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has continued its protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, maintaining pressure on the Indian government over the alleged examination paper leak controversy.
The protesters are demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, holding him responsible for repeated paper leak incidents that they say have undermined the future of millions of students.
CJP founder and president Abhijit Deepke welcomed social activist Sonam Wangchuk’s decision to end his 26-day hunger strike, describing his contribution to the movement as invaluable.
“Sonam Sir’s life is far too precious for this country,” Deepke said, while emphasizing that the movement would continue until its demands are met.
He also pledged that Wangchuk’s hunger strike and the reported police action against protesting students would not be allowed to go in vain, reaffirming the movement’s commitment to securing accountability.

According to a CJP spokesperson, a fresh round of talks with government ministers has been scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi.
The protesters expressed hope that the discussions would be conducted in a constructive atmosphere, while reiterating that demonstrations would continue until Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan steps down.
The protests have become one of the most prominent youth-led movements in India in recent months, with demonstrators calling for greater transparency, accountability, and reforms in the country’s examination system.
