A passenger boat carrying 243 people has gone missing in Indonesia.
The Indonesian rescue agency said rescuers have pulled 103 passengers from the sea. Officials have also confirmed one death.
Boat Reportedly Faced Bad Weather
Authorities said the boat crew reported bad weather during their last contact with officials.
The boat was traveling from Surabaya in East Java to Banjarmasin port. It was about 148 kilometers from the port when it went missing.
Rescue teams are still searching for the remaining passengers. Officials have not yet provided further details about their condition.
The search operation remains underway as rescue teams continue efforts to locate those still missing.
