NEW DELHI: Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of failing the country’s youth and mishandling the recurring examination paper leak crisis.
In a statement, Rahul Gandhi said that if history were to identify the greatest enemy of India’s young generation, it would be Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The opposition leader claimed that examination papers for 152 recruitment and academic tests had been leaked, affecting millions of students across the country, while alleging that not a single person responsible had been effectively punished.
Rahul Gandhi further alleged that the only people facing consequences were hardworking students, who, he said, were not even allowed to demand the resignation of the country’s education minister.
He also accused the authorities of using force against protesting students while those involved in the paper leak scandals continued to remain free.
The Congress leader reiterated that India’s youth deserve transparency, accountability, and a fair examination system, urging the government to take meaningful action against those responsible for compromising competitive examinations.
The remarks come amid continuing political debate over examination integrity, youth unemployment, and education reforms in India, with opposition parties intensifying criticism of the Modi government over the handling of recruitment and academic examinations.
