TASHKENT: Pakistan’s newly appointed Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Mudassir Tipu, has formally presented his diplomatic credentials to Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, marking the beginning of his diplomatic mission in the Central Asian country.
Ambassador Mudassir Tipu described the occasion as a great honor, saying that he was privileged to present his credentials during a meeting with the Uzbek foreign minister. He expressed his commitment to further strengthening the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov welcomed Ambassador Tipu and noted that the two sides held detailed discussions on a range of bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest. The meeting focused on enhancing diplomatic engagement and expanding cooperation across various sectors.
Pakistan and Uzbekistan have continued to deepen their relationship in recent years through increased political dialogue, economic collaboration, trade, regional connectivity initiatives, and people-to-people exchanges.
