Ishaq Dar, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Discuss Bilateral Ties

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Monday.

The two foreign ministers discussed bilateral relations and cooperation in areas of mutual interest, Pakistan’s Foreign Office said.

They also exchanged views on regional developments and the wider situation in the region.

Pakistan and Kuwait Review Bilateral Relations

Dar and Sheikh Jarrah reviewed areas of cooperation between Pakistan and Kuwait.

They agreed that continued engagement would help strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation.

The discussion also covered developments of mutual interest as both countries remain engaged on regional issues.

Ministers Agree to Meet at UN General Assembly

The two ministers agreed to remain in close contact.

They also decided to meet on the sidelines of the upcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

The planned meeting will provide another opportunity to review bilateral relations and discuss regional and international developments.

Pakistan and Kuwait have maintained regular diplomatic engagement on political, economic and regional issues. The Kuwaiti foreign minister also visited Pakistan in July for talks on bilateral relations and regional developments.
